MyPoints.com Delivers Loyalty Point Program to Excite.com Assistant Users

Users Are Rewarded With Currency to Drive New 'Excite Assistant' Product

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- MyPoints.com (Nasdaq: MYPT) today announced an online incentive program for Excite Assistant users. The Excite Assistant is a free application available at Excite.com, which allows users to search for, access and view content and use email from the desktop. The program will provide the Excite Assistant user base with the opportunity to earn points for the adoption and referral of a new Excite Assistant product. The co-branded online incentive program, MyPoints for Excite Assistant, is expected to roll out in the fourth quarter of 1999.

The MyPoints for Excite Assistant program will be managed by MyPoints.com (www.mypoints.com), a leading provider of Internet direct marketing, incentive and loyalty products. The MyPoints for Excite Assistant program represents the first incentive point program instituted by Excite, the popular Internet portal.

The program will give users opportunities to earn points good for a wide variety of products and services, including frequent flyer miles and other travel awards, long distance phone cards, free books and CDs, and other merchandise from more than 50 brand-name rewards providers. Users will be able to earn points for, among other things:

-- Enrolling in MyPoints for Excite Assistant.

-- Downloading a new Excite Assistant desktop client.

-- Referring the Excite Assistant desktop client to friends.

-- Interacting with email and Web-based advertisements through the

MyPoints(R) Program.
